Im playing with invisible anamolies right now and its not that bad, i like it personally. It gives a reason to use bolts as well. The beeping is still there so its not hard to tell if your in danger.

Yeah i like it if they are harder to see, not invisible but almost.... but then i dont use that anomaly detector. What i dont like is how numerous they are for example do they really need that many anomalies between garbage checkpoint and entry to bar? Anyway im gonna look into decreasing them having them change position maybe a tad more difficult.

yo,
any ideas how to implant a former beta's inventory screen to the game? :F
i unpacked the beta2215 and found that the inventory holds a sleep button and i also can put more artifacts in my belt.... so i tried to put it to the full game, but nothing happened :F i changed the dds-es and xml-s as well, but nothing has changed... :F any idea?
ps: i also found a huge level/map data in that beta, so now i know the missing areas : -swamp -dead city -dark escape -desolated/lost village -rostok factory -some area east from the npp (saw a pic when the actor walks on the rail-bridge...) -radars -i even found something about the area north of the npp (some ppl say that there is a 2nd brain schorcher... :FF)

If there is a way to script a branch being shot threw a tank and we can get it to work, i think THQ needs to hire all of us for Stalker 2.
Also i would like to see air transport VIA the hind for the military used more often, instead of "POOF" spawning so to speak, a hind comes in lands and then "poof" a squad of military guys comes out.

Some of the info about those levels are still in gamedata files. i never played the alpha's or beta's so cant help you much but a lot of people especially on the official modding forum have been talking about it.
The hind carrying troops i would like, if it gets shot at or military guys hate you a lot or if military is having a fight then it would land and drop off reinforcements. however im not sure what we can do about the 'poof' spawning of the troops around the landed chopper. To be honest i've never seen the chopper land and spawn the troops., i've seen the results of it though i admit.

Heh, that would be wicked sweet... maybe that's what I'll go to college for Hmm? Still three years off though... D=
Also: It would be really nice to see wtf is behind the Bar, and the first trader.
EDIT: Eh, Demoche posted right before I got finished.
So, new stuff: Somehow, we would have to code the doors on the Hind to open. I haven't gone in to that file, and looked at it closely yet, so I don't know how this would be accomplished, or if it's even possible yet.
There are also undamaged Hind's in Garbage! The rotor blades are just dug into the ground...

Must be a shortage of skilled chopper pilots. From what i heard there aint that much behind the bar, so why theres a guard there who knows...

Ahhh.... goddammit. I just saw a Stalker gameplay trailer and it had someone playing the harmonica, AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!! I'm gonna see if i can get a usable harmonica and guitar working!

yo, i pushed a wooden box from the outside into the bar, and that guy got out of my way as i pushed the box direct to him, and i went inside, nothing, but a room, with some curtains, maybe for a peepshow and an other room with 2 tables and some furnitures... and i also found a guitar and a hand radio near the lab x18... so i looked into the script files, and i saw that the radio was once attachable (mountable) to somewhere, maybe to a slot in the old inventory menu... by the way, i picked out all dds and xml and ltx files from the former betas related with the inventory sleep button... and somehow we should make it work but its not as easy as i thought (if you want me to post the link, just drop me a pm)

Just thought of a vehicle, how about an ATV (fourwheeler bike) plenty of power/speed, take it anywhere, relatively small, and could be modified to have some kind of weight restricted stash on it....
Dezodor thanks for the link im giving it a look now. From looking at the item.ltx vodka is has a wpn config as well so maybe will need to do same for harmonica and guitar. I've noticed that about the radio, you can also include the anomaly detector, binos, and a few others which seem to have been originally intended as inventory items rather than being automatically 'there'.
