Hi, I'm Stephen, I'm one of TK's friends. I do coding, no graphics or anything artistic. If you want me to help on a project, ask and I may do it. I am also going to start doing testing once I get my pc to run stalker...
I will also be looking for someone to help with graphics on a side project, but I won't be to that point for awhile. Pm me if you're interested though, and I will talk to you about what it is. I will need a modeler and a texture artist.

Hi all. I'm Ken from Texas. I played the game for a while and then added two mods and my saved games got f*cked. So I had to start over but then I thought, maybe I can make my own mods that I want to use like I did in Morrowind. Now, I just gotta learn how!

Greeting to all, I'm from Australia, you know, downunder and have been modding stalker for my own nefariuos purposes for about 6 months now. I dont plan on releasing any mods any time soon, mainly because the ones i am currently working on are based around many of the most common mods that have already been released, and i dont really want to add to an already huge list of same old mod types. To put it in perspective, i'm heavily influenced by (and have learned most of my skills from studying mods made by) FATRAP, Eggchen, Fiakes, Dezodor, niphty and so on. So i have to thank those guys and countless others for providing good tuorials and ideas for budding modders like myself. (the list of modders would be too long for me to even try to fit them in, but i think you get the idea . I'll be somewhat active on the forum, but only where i deem to be neccessary and constructive, not being much of a conversationalist, more of a technical discussion type. So having said that, i look forward to seeing what great new ideas are put forward by the community, if only to learn some new tricks. Although if i have any valid suggestions or ideas i will put them up for consideration and discussion.

Hi, my name is Dylan, and STALKER is the first easily mod-able game that I have ever bought, so after playing the game and some of the mods, I thought I would be interested in trying to do some basic modding for fun.
As a game, STALKER is probably the second-best game that I've played (right below Hitman 4). I like it a lot, though, and the fact that it's mod-able makes it even better.

Hello everyone. I'm from Lebanon, but now in Sharjah in UAE. I find STALKER having easy modding. After playing, I've decided to make a modification for STALKER! STALKER is one of my favorite games ever and I'm addicted to it.

Greets fellow stalkers!! My name is Xarian Prime.. I have 2 games in life.. Freelancer & Stalker . Been modding games since i can remember having a PC, as of late Stalker has been the most enjoyable to tinker with (im on a break from my FL mod) & some of the new mods are awesome . Im getting pretty good with it all, well at least.. integration between different mods into my personal little one.. ( a private "patch" for Complete 1.4.3.. which i think is a awesome basemod to work from ) recently spent the night (last night) sitting here watching it all CTD after grabing some Arsenal weps.. and not using the whole thing.. that was fun.. one by one.. crash by crash (setup the barman trader with the lot) its all fixxed now & working a treat (yay). loving the X-ray engine & the way you all are pushing it to sweet extremes, once i get a good grip on whats what (still learning the way) i hopefully can contribute back to you all somehow.. but for now its a personal endeavor into SC1.4.3 & the ZRP.. Got a few Q's though b4 i run off.. 1. Were would i find some new exo's.. not reskins.. seems the game has them for NPC's but only 1 for the player.. i'd like to make the duty/freedom ones available as well.. I know of the AMK & antigas.. but cant seem to find "just" that mod.. its always inside another larger mod. 2. I noticed a landmine model used for the Freedom/crazy stalker bit obviously.. anyone ever get that as a useable? and lastly.. i made some "nades".. brought back the smoke nade.. ect.. but they don't play well with the 2 existing ones.. its one or the other but not all.. any way to fix that?.. atm there "alternate" weapons.. but when you pick up a F-1 you have to drop em to access the new nades.. just a niggle really cheers EDIT:.. oh.. and im From Australia too

Hi Im sgt.davis and Im a regular dude from South Africa and I love the last installment of S.T.A.L.K.E.R Im a guy who loves realism and fun gameplay combined. Its hard to find a game or mod that gets that balance right. I joined because I would like to learn about modding Stalker and creating a better experience. Who knows, I might even release it if I have time to complete it. I have 2 modding projects in the pipeline(one for the Source Engine and one for the Company of Heroes engine). They are Half-Life: The Alternative and the Cold of War mod series. Im currently un-involved with any mods for Stalker. My first experience of S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of Pripyat was outstanding. I have not played the other two previous games. I think they laid the story needed to play this has been very well told at the beginning for players who have not played it. I also did extensive research into its story and I must say I love it! My impressions: I played the game on Stalker difficulty and it was way too easy so now Im plaing on Veteran. Its much more fun and challenging. I have several complaints though. The spawning and "routines" of human and mutants is not very good. There are also a few visual disturbances in the game. The one at the ventilation complex(central pipe) and the other at the spot you connect the gas tank to wipe out the bloodsuckers. The pipes are also distorted. I also have a few gameplay wise issues: 1. Prices are ridiculous. You have to pay more for a simple unupgraded sunrise suit than a fully upgraded one. Artefacts also dont give enough money in relation to what things cost you. 2. There are also too many medkits and bandages. They should be slightly decreased. 3. There should be more weapons! There is way too small choice of weapons and items. They should have added more food, medical and weapon items. 4. The atmosphere is terrible. The only scary place is Pripyat and there are practically no enemies or mutants. 5. They should have added ways to get to the different sectors by foot without guides to make the place seem larger and more terrifying. 6. Mutants should be less active during daytime. And more at night to add scariness. 7. There are too few places to sleep! They should have added places to sleep out in the open at camp fires. 8. A buddy system would have ben nice. Special friends should be there to help you with tasks etc. Soldiers should also be able to be hired. 9. They should also have added more resource control and management. There are some more. I know there are mods that fix this like S.M.R.T.E.R but my personal experience with that wasnt too good. I quit playing that after an hour. There is the redux mod but there are a few things there I would like to have added or changed, its not released yet though. I want to know how to start modding the game. Everyone wants a different playstyle. Not everyone wants a realism mod that will kill you if you walk through a piece of grass. Some just want "casual" realism gaming and more atmosphere. Where can I download a program to extract the game files? Ive searched for 2 hours and I couldnt find anything Tha5ts it from me and have a good one *Note: Sorry, I opened a new thread instead of posting here. Can amoderator delete it?

Hey there, whoever is reading. I'm Rogue, a new member. not much else other than I haven't yet done any modding, and I would like to start. I came here for help on modding S.t.a.l.k.e.r. CoP, but have not found much related or user friendly in that direction. I am completely new to modding.. Stalker.. I don't know where to start. It is a beautiful game set in a timeless post-apocalyptic world so unique to the game and I would like to start adding or modding the zone to make it even more adventurous for me, and maybe even for others.
PS.: I can do voices fairly well [Russian/Ukrainian], written several stories based upon the stalker world, absolutely love quest writing, [just like writing but more realistic] and I am very eager to put my skills to the test.
